Louise Paque
Clinical Psychologist
Louise qualified as a Clinical Psychologist in 1998. Since then Louise has worked with children and families primarily in the Children and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS), initially working with children with long-term needs as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Louise went on to focus on consultation and short-term work in both community and educational settings, before moving into a managerial role in preventative mental health.
As an assistant psychologist, Louise worked at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London developing psychometric tests to understand neuropsychological functioning of people with brain injury or neurological disorders. Following further clinical training Louise undertook and supervised neuropsychological assessments within CAMHS.
Louise is an experienced supervisor of clinicians and is experienced in providing mental health consultations to front line professionals providing services to children and young people.
Following a period in project management within the NHS, Louise is now part of the multi-disciplinary team at Heads and Heads working with children, young people and their families, specifically to help the understanding of the links between cognitive abilities, emotions and behaviours.
