Dr Victoria Stephens - Psychologist & Psychotherapist
Dr Victoria Stephens has worked within the NHS for over 20 years. She qualified as a Clinical
Psychologist in 1999 and since that time has worked primarily in child and
adolescent mental health services and parent-infant mental health teams.
She works with children, young people and their parents/carers for brief, medium and
long-term interventions. She has experience of working with a wide range of
difficulties, including depression, anxiety, deliberate self-harm and suicidality, post-
traumatic stress disorder, eating difficulties, obsessive-compulsive disorders and
grief and loss. She is also able to administer and interpret neuropsychological
assessments. She uses many different interventions, including CBT and Trauma
Focussed CBT.
Victoria qualified as a Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist in 2019, so can also
provide psychoanalytic psychotherapy for children and young people, both
individually and in groups. She has completed a variety of trainings in parent infant
psychotherapy. Alongside her clinical work Victoria proivdes supervision, teaching
and reflective practice groups.
